This week I was able to do a Crown Winery engagement session before the weather got cold. Amelia had helped with one of my previous weddings and it’s always flattering to get a call from someone from a previous wedding. A few weeks ago they came by my studio along with Amelia’s mother and friend. I couldn’t wait to get to photograph Amelia and Gordon.
I haven’t gotten the chance to do any weddings or portraits at Crown Winery in a while. It’s a gorgeous location and it never disappoints. And in case you like wine, as I was looking around the winery waiting for Amelia and Gordon to change clothes I saw some very tasty looking wines that I’m going to have to go back and try. Particularly a peach wine and cranberry wine. Yummy!! I’m all about fruity and sweet drinks.
It was an overcast warm fall day. Amelia and Gordon were really fun to work with. Engagement sessions always get me excited for the wedding because it’s when I get to see a glimpse of how much fun we will have. I get to get to know a little more about them and their story. These two have a really fun story. They actually ran into each other in a store and after a little flirting and passing each other again in the aisle, they ended up going out on a date. Who knew that happens outside of movies??
If you cant’ tell I am looking forward to their wedding next year. It’s going to be a blast!
