Emily and Brian | Engagement Session| Jackson TN

I love meeting new people but there’s also something amazing about photographing someone you’ve known for a long time. With Emily and Brian, I get a little of both. I’ve known Emily for as long as I can remember. I grew up with her and her older sister. Our families are really close.

I just recently met Brian. He seems like a great match for Emily. He made her laugh so easily. It’s great during an engagement session when all you have to do is ask them to look at each other to get them to smile and laugh. We did their session at Emily’s family farm. It was a gorgeous day.

Engagement sessions can be such great practice for your wedding. You get to get more comfortable with your photographer. And if you aren’t someone who is comfortable getting your picture taken you can practice some poses. That way on the wedding day you have enough experience to just pick things up automatically.

Emily and Brian have chosen to have their wedding under a giant old tree on her family’s property. I am really looking forward to this wedding. Getting to spend the day with these two and their families will be the best. It’s going to be so much fun!!
