Emmy | One Year Old | Lake Graham

The weather has started to feel so much more like fall in the past month. It was bright and sunny for my session with Emmy. Her mom chose to do her session at Lake Graham. It was a tad humid but it was still a beautiful day. Emmy brought her entourage with her for her session. It was great to meet her mom and her grandparents.

They came ready with outfits and props. I’m so glad that I was chosen to photograph sweet little Emmy. This little girl has the biggest most beautiful eyes. And she smiled and posed for us the whole time. I have had tons of fantastic sessions with littles but I can honestly say this one has been the hardest for me to choose from. There were so many great ones and I had to narrow down what I was going to use for the blog post.

Emmy’s grandmother had made her two smash cakes. She wanted to make sure that if something happened to one of them that there was a backup. Emmy did so well with the first one and then got to smash the second. This sweet baby was a champ and never once fussed at us.

With those giant blue eyes, she didn’t even have to smile to make for a great picture. But she sure did smile a lot anyway. And she kept getting excited and holding her arms up or putting her hands to her face. Towards the end, she would even point one finger towards her chin.
