Newborn Family Session | The Buchanan Family | Jackson TN

This newborn family session was a bit different than my typical sessions. Normally when I do a newborn session I will do it in the family’s home. I’ve found this can be very helpful to new parents. But in this case, the White family had just moved so an in-home session would have been a lot more stressful than helpful. I can totally relate because we just moved this past month.

In the case of needing a location, I turned to The New Southern in downtown Jackson. It has tons of huge windows and makes for a great indoor option in the winter. I used one of the smaller rooms to warm up a small space to do some basket images of this sweet baby girl. It ended up being a great spot for our session.

She was so good for her session. She kept her eyes open and watched us for most of the time. Big brother did a great job holding her for pictures and even lost his first tooth during our session. He was so excited that he had just popped it out and it had been so easy.

It was great meeting the White family and spending a little time with them at their newborn family session. Congratulations you guys!! She’s precious.
