Winter Nashville Proposal | John & Ashton

I’ve done a lot of proposals with amazing couples but this proposal was easily one of the most exciting. John and Ashton had a winter Nashville proposal on the pedestrian bridge. It was a chilly day but the sun was bright and gorgeous.

Ashton and John have been in school together since elementary school. They were always really good friends. They eventually started dating in college just after their freshman year.

Ashton is finishing her nutrition degree at Eastern Kentucky University and John is a title insurance agent. He is planning to further his career when they both move to Nashville this summer.

From the moment John hit his knee to the time I left Ashton was a gorgeous array of different exciting expressions and emotions. She seemed genuinely shocked that he was proposing. For a moment I thought she might hit the ground. Ashton only got more excited when John turned and pointed down the bridge that they had some family members there to help with the surprise.

Champagne and glasses were brought out and everyone toasted the newly engaged couple. I am so blessed to get to be a part of such special moments in people’s lives. I enjoyed meeting every one of you. This was the perfect winter Nashville proposal. Congratulations John & Ashton!!
