Thompson’s Station TN

This week I photographed Everett’s one-year session near their home in Thompson’s Station TN. Thomson’s Station TN is a beautiful area. I love heading to middle TN for sessions. It has such a different look than the West TN area where I live.

This time of year is so perfect for portrait sessions. The sun was bright and it was cool and pleasant outside. The leaves are starting to change just a little bit so the colors outside are different. Fall is definitely my favorite.

As I’ve probably said a million times, I’ve known the Petry’s for quite a while now and it is always great to see them. I was just thinking how grateful I am that Jared chose me to photograph his proposal. From there I have gotten to do lots of fun sessions with their family.

Everett

Everett is just starting to stand holding on to things. So that gives so many options for his pictures. His parents brought a rocking chair that belonged to his dad as a child. He was so interested in the grass and playing with it that we had trouble keeping him in the chair.

The clicking of the camera really got his attention this time. We would be trying to get him to smile and he would just be staring at the camera with a little smirk on his face waiting for it to click. Big brother is at a very energetic age so sitting still was a tough thing for him. We did lots of running around and chasing to get great images of his cute little grin.

It was a beautiful day in Thompson’s Station TN. Now that his milestone sessions are over I won’t be getting to see the Petry’s quite as much. But I’m so looking forward to our next family portrait.
