Proposal in Nashville TN | Parthenon | Ryan & Amber

Ryan had planned a surprise proposal in Nashville TN and even though there was a high chance of rain, it ended up being a gorgeous day at The Parthenon. The sun was shining and there was a slight breeze amongst the heat. Ryan and Amber were on their way to dinner and he told her they were going to make a stop at the Parthenon since she had not seen it.

Ryan and Amber are both living in Gastonia NC and were traveling for work. They actually met at work where Ryan owns martial arts and fitness training centers. The two of them enjoy traveling and working out together. They decided to spend a couple of days in Nashville for Amber’s birthday while on their trip.

Ryan got in touch with me to photograph his surprise proposal to Amber and said he was open to suggestions of where to propose. I immediately thought of The Parthenon in Nashville. The building is unique and gorgeous, but the park is also a beautiful spot. We watched for them to arrive and then he dropped down on one knee when they got close and pretended to be tying his shoe while he snuck the ring out of his pocket.

There were several people there enjoying the park and they all stopped to watch. One lady even pulled out her phone and started making a video. As always, I really enjoyed getting to meet these two for a little while on such a memorable day in their lives. Congratulations you two!!
