The Horseshoe Lake Venue, Huron TN | Kendyl & Peyton

Kendyl and Peyton had a gorgeous Christmas wedding at The Horseshoe Lake Venue. The greenery and twinkle lights were just stunning. The whole place felt warm and joyful.

This gorgeous couple met at church when they were younger. They started out as friends and began dating in high school. After many years of dating, he proposed on a Sunday afternoon at the river behind his house where they spent a lot of time together in the summers. They had eaten lunch and he was driving her around and stalling while his mom and sister were setting up and decorating. After a while, he blindfolded her and then she knew what was about to happen! Once they got to the spot, he helped her out of the truck and then took off her blindfold. They walked over to the spot and he read a passage from the Bible. Then he asked her to marry him and of course, she said yes!!

I got to spend a little time with them when we met up for their engagement session. They both have such sweet spirits and I knew this wedding would be so fun.

The Wedding

The Horseshoe Lake Venue is set out in the country surrounded by trees and a gorgeous lake. Inside is a stunning staircase that leads the bride into the ceremony. There are two side rooms that connect to the middle room with a row of windows. It was a packed house full of people who love these two and wanted to see this special day. Kendyl’s dress was lace and had a lace overlay. Her veil had matching lace and flowed down her back onto her train.During the first look, any stress or nerves melted away and Kendyl and Peyton smiled and hugged. The rest of the day was full of fun and happiness with friends and family. Luckily the weather had warmed up a bit from the past few weeks. The girls had fur wraps to keep their shoulders warm. They looked so elegant with them on.

Kendyl and Peyton left to their friends and family throwing snow. I have never seen that done before and it was so beautiful. Such a great ending to such a beautiful day. Congratulations you two!!
