Natchez Trace Session | Raiden | Tracye’s Photography

Natchez Trace State Park

It’s been years since I’ve been to Natchez Trace. It’s such a large park and so beautiful. We were trying to find a place closer to the family to take their pictures so we’d have plenty of time before sunset. Natchez Trace was a great option.

I drove around for about 45 minutes before they arrived to check the place out. I’m guessing since the weather had recently turned cooler everyone had the same idea. It was really crowded near the original area I planned to go. So I drove back to the horse stables. I’m not sure if they have a new area they use for horseback riding or if it just isn’t the season for it but it was pretty abandoned.

Raiden

I met the Henley’s and little Raiden when I did his in home newborn session. They are a very sweet family that are new to the area. I’m so glad they found me. They have been such a joy to work with.

The Henley’s met me there and Raiden was all smiles. He had just woken up so we had to give him a minute to check out his surroundings and get used to everything. He laughed and grinned at his mom and dad for the whole first half of the session. As babies typically do he decided fairly soon after that he was done modeling for the day. It was a great quick session and I think we got some pretty great images of this handsome little man.
