Wedding at Magnolia Manor & Chapel
Magnolia Manor is a beautiful little wedding venue in downtown Humboldt Tennessee. The chapel was originally a historic 1895 church in the heart of Humboldt. The church has been lovingly restored to be a wedding venue and a bed and breakfast. It has six luxurious guest sweets and unique event space. My favorite part is the shaded outdoor courtyard. Their courtyard feels like a secret garden hidden away from the downtown streets.
Last October Keving & Carolyn got engaged. All of their guests were so excited for their wedding. We met a little early and did just a few images of Carolyn and her bridesmaid and Kevin and his groomsmen. It was a beautiful but windy day as we took a quick trip to a few spots around the venue for pictures of the couple. The chapel has a beautiful bright red front door and unique arched windows. I love using all those things as backgrounds for images.
The Wedding
The ceremony started with Kevin and his groomsmen making their way in and Carolyn’s brother walked her into the ceremony. Once the sweet ceremony was over there were tons of hugs and laughs shared with the guests. We cut the cake and had a toast and Carolyn made her way around the chapel to make sure she didn’t miss any of her guests. After a toss of the garter, things came to an end. Carolyn and Kevin were eager to head to the beach for their honeymoon and I can’t blame them. I’m totally jealous that they are spending the week at the beach.
Congratulations Kavin & Carolyn! I wish you so many wonderful years.
